POLICE CHIEF VOWS TO CAPTURE BANDIT MESSINA

Major Ettore D'Amico, Commander of the San Celeste garrison, has declared his mission to capture Paolo Messina, the infamous bandit behind a decade of robberies, kidnappings, and murders.

“Messina has terrorized this region for too long,” D'Amico stated at a press conference. “I will not rest until he is brought to justice.”

Messina, known for his ruthlessness and ability to evade capture, is believed to be hiding in the rugged mountains, relying on a network of informants and sympathizers. Previous efforts to apprehend him have failed, but Maj. D'Amico is confident his new strategy — enhanced patrols, intelligence gathering, and regional cooperation — will end Messina’s reign.

While some residents welcome the chief’s determination, others remain cautious, which is perhaps understandable given that Messina has so far eluded three station chiefs during his criminal career.

The region now watches anxiously as the hunt for Messina intensifies.
