NO ENTRY BEYOND THIS POINT

Due to increasing instability, as of the 12th of August, 1904, the lower tunnels of the South Mine will be permanently decommissioned.

All workers will be reassigned to a new area.

Full closure will be executed thereafter, by means of explosive.
