Letter from Don Torrisi
Chairman Santarossa,
I received your letter this morning, and of course, I would be happy to meet with you and discuss my plans for the mine.
Unfortunately, your previous manager left the business in quite the state, so there is a lot of ground to cover. However, I am confident that I can turn things around in good time. I trust that Baron Fontanella has reassured you of my capabilities.
It would be a pleasure to host you at my home for your next visit, though I know previous managers have preferred an evening at the opera. I personally would find it a distracting place to discuss business, but I will let you make that decision.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Bernardo Torrisi
